The first batch of pilgrims arrive home today, September 8th, after the Hajj in Mecca.
The Northern pilgrims returned to Ghana at the Tamale international airport.
They form part of the 2,617 pilgrims from the Northern, Upper East, and Upper West regions who were expected to fly directly from the Tamale Airport to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia in August.
Meanwhile, the southern sector pilgrims are expected to be homebound on September 10th.
